It's a great idea to have your hair and makeup trial completed at the same time, then maybe even go and have a fitting with your gown!

This can be a Mobile Service and we are happy to travel anywhere within Christchurch. Outside of Christchurch is negotiable.

Travel within Christchurch is FREE. Other destinations are negotiable.

Best wedding tips, just for you

Congratulations on your engagement! Now you will be starting to plan your big day and I would like to help. There is a lot to take into consideration, so firstly I suggest you decide on a venue, the time of your ceremony, a celebrant, a photographer, then the dress….

Once you have chosen your dress then we can discuss hair and makeup, as the hair and makeup should complement the style of the dress, as the dress is one of the most important and noticed features on your wedding day, not to mention your beautiful life partner to be.

Let’s talk about the time of your ceremony. Something to be mindful of is the earlier your ceremony, the earlier the bridal party will be need to be getting ready. For example, if your ceremony is at 1pm and you have 4 bridesmaids, plus Mum and you, you will all need to start getting ready at 6am as a time line should always be made by working back from the time of your ceremony.

Allow 45 mins for hair and 30 mins for makeup for each bridesmaid and Mum.

Allow 1 hour for hair and 1 hour for makeup for you.

I recommend everyone in the bridal party to wash their hair the day or night before the wedding, not the day of. It is best for the hair to have some natural oil to hold the hair design better and for longer on your special day.

Ideally you will want all your hair and makeup completed at least 1 ½ hours before your ceremony, so then you can relax, have a bite to eat, take a deep breath and then your bridesmaids should be helping you into your beautiful gown, then you will be off to the venue…..

Terms and Conditions

1. If services are required on the Bride's wedding day before 7am, a $150 additional fee will incur.

2. A complimentary consultation is offered and trial is compulsory. This allows Leticia to talk to you about the style you would like. This also gives her the opportunity to analyse your hair type and condition. Treatments, products, cuts and colours will also be advised.

3. A $100 deposit is required to save your date. This is non transferable and non refundable. If you decide to no longer continue with your booking after your trial, please let Leticia know as soon as convenient.
